moms, it’s about time

you loved your career

work and motherhood can coexist

It’s time to rewrite the story about what it means to be a working mom.

Because you don’t want to stay at home with your kids.

You also don’t want to feel like work is sucking the joy from the other areas of your life.

And yet those are the examples we see everyday.

The moms who give up their careers to stay home.

Or, the moms busting their asses to keep their careers going, only to wind up feeling stressed, overwhelmed and resentful.

You want to have a career or business you love, just as much as you love your children.

And times have changed, but our perception of what’s possible for ourselves has not.

Because if you’re anything like me, you grew up in a society that told you that if you work hard and do everything you’re supposed to do, you can “have it all” and “be happy.”

So when. you wind up in a place where everything looks “perfect on paper” from the outside, but you feel like crap on the inside, it can feel confusing, overwhelming and unfair.

But here’s what’s actually happening:

You believe your life should look a certain way, but those expectations don’t match the reality… and you’re making that mean something is wrong with YOU.

This isn’t true and it’s not necessary. It’s just that we’re so habituated to letting the outside (jobs, people, houses, money…) determine how we feel inside…instead of the other way around.

When we learn to stop should’ing all over ourselves, we can start to ask ourselves what we really want and make a plan of action to get it.

My personalized 1:1 coaching program helps you do just that. And the first step is to schedule your free discovery call.

 This might look like:

  • Having a job that looks impressive on paper but, your heart's not in it.

  • Never feeling like you've reached your full potential career-wise.

  • Wanting a fulfilling career but feeling spread thin between work and parenting.

  • Being unsure about leaving your kids for work and therefore, spinning in confusion and doing nothing.

  • Wishing you could rediscover the love that you used to have for your career.

  • Feeling overwhelmed and like you’re failing as a parent and making zero traction at work.

  • Wanting to launch a business but feeling unsure about your ideas, if it’s the right time, etc.

You might be thinking:

  • But I'm happy enough. Things aren't terrible.

  • I have so much to be grateful for, it' selfish to want more.

  • My job is totally fine. You're not supposed to love your job, anyway, right?

  • It’s most important to spend time with my kids. My career and I can wait.

  • It pays the bills. That’s good enough for me.

  • Other people have a passion, I just don’t.

If you're OK with all of those reasons, you can stop reading now. Thank you for making it this far.

But if you’re not, you probably believe that W-O-R-K doesn’t have to be a 4 letter word.

You probably believe that you were meant for more than phoning it in to a job you merely tolerate.

You definitely know there is more inside of you just waiting to be unleashed.

You absolutely want to be the example of how to be courageous, kind and passionate for your kids.

You 100% believe that work is not just work. It’s an expression of who you are. It’s a way to contribute. It’s a way to make an impact. It’s a container for your own growth.

You could just settle for a j-o-b. But why would you when you could have so much more?

 Coaching Case Studies

Below are real case studies from some of my real coaching clients. Though their names are excluded for confidentiality, I have received permission to share these.

Case Study #1:

After staying home for 7 years to raise her kids, she finally started the business that had been in the back of her mind for years.

Before Coaching:

  • My client wanted to make a change after staying home to raise her kids for the past ~7 years.

  • Her life looked great from the outside, but she was hampered by insecurity, uncertainty, and the belief that the best years of her life had already passed her by.

  • Even though her days seemed busy, she never got anything meaningful accomplished.

  • She had no idea where or how to start to make a change.

After Coaching:

  • We began by taking the time to figure out what was most important to her, by understanding where she was now and what she wanted to be different.

  • We set 1,3 and 6 month goals, to give her direction and inform the actions she would start to take.

  • We ensured progress by breaking her action steps down into small, achievable steps.

  • We worked on her self-confidence and her belief that she could start a new chapter after feeling out of the game.

  • She completed a longstanding project that she'd been procrastinating for years (literally) which laid the foundation for her next career moves.

  • She began putting herself out there and making local connections, opening herself up to opportunities she wouldn't have come by before.

  • The effects of unpacking what she wanted in her career expanded to impact other areas of her life. She’s more present with her kids. She’s reprioritized her health and has begun exercising in the morning.

  • She began making money in her business!

  • She started to feel hope for the future again.
