Ep. #9: From Award-Winning Teacher to Children's Book Author, and Creativity in Motherhood, with Stephanie Snyder
Stephanie Snyder was a bleeding heart, award-winning teacher. It was a career she loved and had no plans to ever leave UNTIL she had her daughter, Lucy.
As many women experience when they become mothers, Stephanie knew instantly it was time to leave her teaching career to be able to spend her time with her young daughter.
But that didn’t mean the transition was easy.
Stephanie shares her journey of how her dedication to being resourceful and just figuring stuff out helped her family transition from two incomes down to one.
And also, she tells us about how being home with her daughter was the spark that inspired her newest creative endeavor as a children’s book author.
Stephanie tells us about the Littlebit Book Club, a boardbook series for toddlers, and how her role as a mother and seeing the world through her daughter’s eyes is a creative outlet that is shaping her future in new and exciting ways she never might have expected.
So if you’ve ever considered starting your own creative passion project, if you’ve ever felt the need to change things up after you had kids, you’ll love Stephanie’s story.
